FAQ

Choosing a course

Which first aid course does my workplace need?
It depends on your risk level and headcount. Lower-risk workplaces usually need the one-day Emergency First Aid at Work; higher-risk or larger employers need the three-day First Aid at Work. Our guide on how many first aiders you need walks through it, or just ask us.
What's the difference between emergency first aid and first aid at work?
Emergency First Aid at Work is a one-day course covering the essentials for lower-risk settings. First Aid at Work is a three-day qualification covering a much wider range of injuries and illnesses for higher-risk or larger organisations.
Do you deliver training onsite?
Yes — most of our training is delivered at your premises across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Surrey, so your team is not travelling and the scenarios match your real environment.
How long is first aid certification valid?
Certificates for our accredited courses are valid for three years from successful completion. We recommend a short annual refresher and will remind you when renewal is due.
