# Privacy policy

Last updated: August 2026 · Aim2Aid Ltd, company number 16319053

This policy explains what personal information Aim2Aid Ltd collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it properly.

## Who we are

Aim2Aid Ltd is a first aid, fire safety and mental health first aid training company registered in England and Wales (company number [16319053](https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/16319053)), based at 70 Fountain Gardens, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 3SX. For the information described in this policy, Aim2Aid Ltd is the data controller. That means we are responsible for how your personal information is looked after.

## Information we collect

When you enquire or ask for a quote through our forms, by phone or by email, we collect the details you give us: your name, the organisation you represent, your email address, your telephone number, your location or postcode, and anything you tell us about the training you need.

When we arrange and deliver a course, we record delegate names and assessment outcomes so that certificates can be issued and verified by our accrediting body.

If you leave us a review, that review — including the name you publish it under — is visible on the platform you post it to (such as Google), and we may display it on this website.

Our website itself collects only the basic technical information needed to serve the pages and keep the site secure, and basic figures on how many people visit. We do not use advertising trackers. Our [cookie policy](https://www.aim2aid.co.uk/cookies/) explains this in more detail.

## How we use your information

We use your information to answer your enquiry and provide a quote; to arrange, deliver and administer training; to issue certificates and, where you are an existing customer, to remind you when a certificate is due to expire; to keep proper business and accounting records; and to meet the requirements of our accrediting body.

We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we never sell them.

## Our lawful basis

Under UK GDPR we rely on the performance of a contract where we are arranging or delivering training for you; on our legitimate interests to respond to enquiries and to remind existing customers about refresher training; and on legal obligation where records must be kept for tax or accreditation purposes.

## What happens to a form you send us

When you submit the quick-quote or contact form, the details are sent to us so we can read them and reply. They are used to respond to your enquiry and to arrange any training that follows. We do not share form data with anyone for marketing, and it is not published anywhere on the site.

## Who we share it with

We share delegate details with our accrediting body where a course requires certification, and with trusted suppliers — such as our accountant and IT providers — who process information on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We do not share your information with anyone else for their own marketing.

## How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept no longer than we reasonably need to follow them up, then deleted. Training and certification records are kept for at least the life of the certificate — three years for our accredited courses — plus a reasonable period afterwards so we can verify or replace certificates. Accounting records are kept for six years, as required by UK tax law.

## Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, and to object to us using it. To exercise any of these rights, email us using the details below and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

## Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. This policy should be read alongside our [cookie policy](https://www.aim2aid.co.uk/cookies/) and our [terms and conditions](https://www.aim2aid.co.uk/terms/).
