Questions we're asked most

Can training be delivered at our premises?

Yes — most of our training is delivered onsite. We come to your workplace, school, nursery, care home or clubhouse, so your team isn't travelling and the scenarios match your real environment.

How many people can attend a course?

We keep groups small so everyone gets proper practice time. Twelve delegates is a typical maximum for practical courses; if you have more, we'll run additional sessions.

How long do the courses take?

Emergency First Aid at Work is one day, First Aid at Work is three days, and paediatric, fire warden and mental health courses vary from half a day upwards. We'll confirm timings when we quote.

Are certificates valid for three years?

Yes. Certificates for our accredited courses are valid for three years from the date of successful completion, and we'll remind you when a refresher is due.

Do you provide paediatric first aid training?

We do — for nurseries, pre-schools, schools, childminders and parents. It covers infant and child CPR, choking, allergic reactions, seizures and common childhood emergencies.

Do you offer blended learning?

Yes. You can complete the theory online at your own pace and then join a shorter practical session with a trainer, which suits teams with tight shift patterns.

Do you provide fire warden training?

Yes. Fire warden training covers prevention, evacuation procedures, extinguisher selection and use, and the day-to-day responsibilities of a nominated warden.

Do you provide mental health first aid training?

We do. The course helps people recognise the signs of mental health difficulties, hold a supportive conversation and signpost the right help.

How much does training cost?

Training prices start from £350. Every course is quoted for your organisation, depending on the course and the size of your group, and quoted prices include VAT. Ask us for a quote for your course and group.

Can courses be tailored to our organisation?

Almost always. We adapt scenarios, timings and content around your people, premises and specific risks — just tell us what you need when you enquire.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Windsor and our trainers come to your premises in Windsor, Slough, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Reading and across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Surrey. If you're just outside that, ask — we often can.
